New Years Resolutions...

I know most people make New Years Resolutions but forget them soon after the new year starts. I have a few resolutions for this coming year and some aren't so much for the new year but more for life. I've gotten a head start on the first (and most important) one already:

1) To lose weight. I know this is a typical resolution for everyone. But this is my year! I've been training with a trainer ( Jeremy James aka JJ ) for about 5 months now and have lost a little weight, but if I had taken it more seriously from the beginning I could have lost a lot more weight. But no regrets, I'm still losing weight. SOOO the moral of the story is that this year, I am gonna start living a healthier life by working out more/better and eating much better/healthier food! (Renee, Marie, Chris, Foof, Farah and anyone else that reads this: I NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT! and RENEE: NO MORE JUNK FOOD AND DO NOT TRY TO DISSUADE ME FROM GOING TO THE GYM ONLY TO COME OVER AND LAZE AROUND INSTEAD!!)

2) Volunteer More! I wanna help people! I've been very blessed and need to pass it on more!

3) LEARN TO MANAGE MONEY!!!! Why don't I have any money? I have nothing to show for all the money I've made the past year or two. It's so sad, but I'm gonna learn this year! I have to! If anyone has any tips, let me know!

4) Travel somewhere new! I'm starting off the year by going to NYC with Marie, Renee, Farah and Nickole at the end of January which I'm SUPER EXCITED about! But I want to go somewhere I haven't been. LA for sure to visit Chris and the band. but also either Boston, Miami, Nashville (or somewhere random and country), Seattle, or San Diego.

5) Out with the Old, In with the New. I'm letting go of all past boyfriends, crushes, heartaches, and mistakes. This will be a better year for love. (hopefully)

6) Help SnappyOrder.com Grow! I've been employed by them for almost a year now and I think it's time for me to be a better employee. Anyone know any restaurants that need online ordering? Let me know! =)

...You were stranded on an island with nothing but the ability to make one phone call:  I would call my mom if she ever picked up her phone, but since she doesn't....i would call my dad.  He always picks up!  

...You could have any one talent, which would you choose?:  I'd want to have a good singing voice.  Everyone in my family can sing but me!  :(     ORRRR I'd want to be able to draw so I can steal Marie's talent, kinda like she stole mine!!!!

...I Am Legend?  I'm not gonna ruin it for anyone but I did not like it very much.  Fatin asked me to go so I did.  Did she mention it could be scary? NO! Not 'til we were walking to our seats and a friend mentioned it!  And Fatin tried playing it off like it wouldn't be.  Guess what Fatin... I'M NEVER SEEING A MOVIE WITH YOU AGAIN!

NEW YORK CITY HERE WE COME!

There's a reason I have Spiritair.com listed as a site I visit EVERYDAY!  It's cause of the deals you can get on there!  I'm a spirit member and guess how much we got 5 tickets to NYC for: $444!!!!!  $88.80 per ticket! That's unbelievable! So Renee, Marie, Farah, Nickole and I will be wandering the streets of NYC from January 25th through 28th!  I'm SO excited!  

I've only been to NYC once when I was 16 and I really don't even remember much of that trip. All I know is that I was "too young" to hang out with Renee and Marie so I hung out with my mom and aunty Fatin! OH! And I remember taking a ferry to The Statue of Liberty but we ended up on Staten Island cause we hopped onto the wrong ferry! Haha!

Tom!...get ready! 5 ladies coming into town and at least 3 are ready to party! 

And Rana, hopefully you have time to shop and party with us!  =)

 

A new addition....

......No, Renee is not pregnant!   =(    

BUT....Noor is engaged!!!!  YAAAY!  Our family is slowly but surely growing!  I love the new additions, too!  First it was Adam, the best ever!  Me and him get along so well it's scary!  And I'm not sure which wedding will happen first but the next two additions are Janan and Chris!  I LOVE Janan, she's super-sweet!  And I still need to get to know Chrissy more but I love him! He's a GREAT guy!  (although he is not a gentlemen and doesn't let us win at games!)

  Chris and Noor

So I did a little bit of Christmas shopping the other day.  I bought marie the new keyboard for her mac and I MADE her open it the same day.  She kept fighting with me that she wanted to open it on Christmas but I convinced her it's something she needed right then!  I'm actually typing on the keyboard right now (sorry Marie but I had to test it out!), it's pretty sweet, very light and quiet.  So since she was opening a present she felt like I had to open one of hers to me too so I very reluctantly (yeah right!) did.  She got me a Rodrigo y Gabriela cd.  I don't know how she knew I like them but I heard them on MTV once and LOVED their music.  Can't wait to listen to it!   I also can't wait for Chris's arrival!! YAAAY!  Miss you Brotha!.........

I miss my BFF ...

No! Not you vaness, anit, renee, marie, foof, fatin, dina, erica, teresa, brian!  I'm talking about CHRIS (I ALWAYS MISS YOU)!!!! Jim (bff!), Denise, Angelo, Aaron, Erin, Chuck, Christine, Tom, Steve and Alan!

I know my hometown friends are wondering who the hell I'm talking about (except brian) but they're my newest and favoritest Cheeburger Cheeburger Buddies!!  I met them all in Orlando on a "business trip" and had SO MUCH FUN!  

What I accomplished on this "business trip" :  

1. Met many VERY fun people from FL, PA, and NY and people I talk to on a daily basis for the first time!

2. Damaged my liver...

3. Laughed 1,000,000 times

4. Overcame two fears: 

     a. Airplanes: I may have Gotten over my fear of takeoff and landing on the flight back to MI  

(or was I too tired to care?)

     b. Roller Coasters:  We rode all the roller-coaster at 

Islands of Adventure and some at Universal

5. ...A little more liver damage

6. Had TONS of fun and shared MANY laughs with this man:  

I'd say that was a pretty productive business trip, wouldn't you Bri?!  

Cure for boredom...

...Create a Blog!  Everyone else is doing it!  I don't really know how this works.  I'm super bored and not feeling well, but can't sleep cause I'm "working".  I might quite possibly have the best job in the world.  I work for SnappyOrder.com (we set restaurants up so their customers can place orders online) and I can basically work from anywhere!  Oh, and I have great bosses!  Brian's the best (cause i know you're reading this, brian)!  

I'm gonna have to learn how to add pics and make this blog cute and exciting like Renee's and Marie's.  But I don't really have anything to blog about so I don' t know how long this will last.
