One of my favorite quotes...

"Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God."

Don't you wish everyone, including mysel, lived with this quote as their life motto? The world would be such a better place!

I'm SO excited!

The two closest weddings I've attended have been Renee's and Dina's weddings, and I walked in both of them, Which means the dresses I wore were chosen for me. So now Cliff's wedding is fast approaching and I just started dress shopping yesterday. Vanessa and Marie very kindly accompanied me on my adventure to Great Lakes Crossing Mall. I tried on about 15 dresses but fell in love with only one. They didn't have the color or size I wanted so I was bummed out. There was another dress that Vanessa and Marie liked but I didn't love it so I didn't buy it. So I got home and told my mom about the dress I loved and she said she'd make it for me!!!!!! YAAAAY! Below is the dress:

But instead of the halter part, my mom is gonna make it an off the shoulder cap strap like in the pic below:

Help me choose a color from the colors in the link below: (click on it to see the names and colors more clearly)

I was thinking something darker/deeper than scarlet but brighter/lighter/redder than rich wine, what'd you think?

It's been a long time!

I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted anything! I guess I've been too busy working and babysitting. I was supposed to go to AZ this friday but plans changed =( I'm going to vegas next weekend =)

This is where Teresa and I are staying (Thanks Brian!!!!) We even get a tiny taste of Paris!

I know I go on vacation kinda often but it gives me something to look forward to! I really feel like I need this one, and I feel like I deserve it, too.
So in preparation for Vegas, I've been shopping. A LOT. More than I've ever shopped before probably. I have enough stuff to change my outfit every couple hours in Vegas.

So I finally inverted bobbed my hair! Anyone that knows me well knows that I always wanna do it, go back and forth for weeks, then end up doing it anyways. This time was no different. I was going back and forth for months this time. I decided I'd let it grow and see if I liked it long. But Foof and Chris bought me a gift certificate for a haircut with Lydia at Beauty Lounge so I did it. Lydia's the one who FIRST inverted bobbed my hair years ago! I'd go in to get a haircut and I always said "do whatever you want" and one day she did it. I LOVED IT then and I still love it now.

That's about the most exciting news I have for ya'll!

I'm Scared

Why am I scared of EVERYTHING? I'm spending the night at Renee's cause Adam is "out of town" for work and we're watching tv. I just got SOOOO scared from a COMMERCIAL about psychic kids. I mean it's a freaky commercial. But I hate being this way!!! I didn't tell Renee this but I won't look out the window she is by cause I feel like I'll se a man standing there with a mask on and knife. (writing this is scaring me) When did I develop such irrational fears? How do such fears even develop? I have been like his ALL MY LIFE. Renee and Cliff used to have an intercom system throughout their house when we were little and sometimes they used to turn off all the lights and play the beginning of a song (which I don't remeber. The beginning was, as I remember it, a very evil laugh. So did my fear start here? Or was I already scared?

Below you will find a list of some of my fears...

- Waking up to a man, wearing a mask, standing beside my bed with a knife
- When I get home at night, I get nervous looking for my keys cause I feel like someone is gonna come up behind me, make me let him in, and rob then kill us
- Snakes, Lizards, Mice, Scorpions, Water Mocassins, etc.
- PUBLIC SPEAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Takeoff and Landing on planes (most of the time)
- Closed shower curtains. (Renee always knows when I've been over her house cause the shower curtain will be open) Ask not!
- Driving through a stop sign and hitting someone riding their bike or walking

...Just to name a few!!

Do you guys think I should see a psychologist? Sometimes I do. I don't wanna live with such fears....

Dear MarMar -
I love you dearly my fabulous sister, but why do you insist on stealing the one and only talent I possess? I mean, can I get a break here?! =(

ANGER!!!

I just had this sudden but understandable bout of anger rush through me! So my dad recently moved his office. And the lady that works with him is out of town so I offered to come to the office to help my dad out. And I know what some of you may be thinking, my dad has become hitler again. No! It's not my dad this time! There is a neighboring office inside the building that belongs to a young CHALDEAN guy my age. And for the past couple hours there have been young guys and one girl going in and out. Which is fine, it's their office they can do as they please BUTTTTT WHY DO THEY FEEL THE NEED TO TALK LOUD ENOUGH FOR ME TO HEAR THEM ALONG WITH ANYONE ELSE IN THE BUILDING?!?? And if you could hear the one guy that was talking most of the time, you would feel this same anger. Typical chaldean voice, accent and vocabulary. Where do these people develop an accent if they're born here?? An exact quote from one of the guy's phone conversations: "bro, she has a bad ass body!...No bro, her face is nice too" AHHHHHHH!!! And then the stupid little girl in her ditzy stupid voice "OH MY GODDDD STOP IT!" "OH MY GOD!! He DID? They're GORGEOUS...AWWWWW" Do you guys know the voice and accent I'm talking about???? SO ANNOYING! At one point I called Anita at work to talk me out of going in there and just bashing some of their faces in. Sorry, but writing this helped. Have a great day!

Obsessed

Renee, I'll agree that the Linkin Park song is a little annoying when he keeps repeating "I bleed it out...." So, here is a more mellow song that I'm obsessed with. Marie HATES when I play music over and over again but yesterday, when she was not home, I put it on repeat for over an hour.

I'll be honest, I'm kinda mad that I even like this song after finding out that Billy Corgan sings it. I used to HATE smashing pumpkins when Marie loved them! But it's like eating bruschetta and loving it then saying "gross! it's made out of tomatoes? i HATE it!" You can't really take it back once you've liked it. So anyways, I love that song...

Linkin Park

I'm obsessed with this song right now...especially the beginning

Arizona

Oh how I miss Arizona! I love it there. I've never actually liked pools or the heat but I think that is slowly changing. Actually, it's probably just that I don't like the humidity that comes along with MI or FL heat. It was 90 degrees and absolutely PERFECT in AZ! I don't have pictures yet cause my friends are slacking on uploading them but here are a few I took from my phone:

The backyard of the beautiful house I'm obsessed with!...

The "dusty" bottles =)

What our days consisted of...

The song of the trip...

So my question to you all is....WHO CHOSE MI?

OH MY FUCK!!!!!

I'm ready to cancel my trip to AZ....I am NOT kidding, if i see one of these anywhere near me....omg I don't even know what I'd do. What am I supposed to do? I am being 100% serious, what do you do if a snake is near you? Run in zigzags? Oh wait no, that's an alligator. Do you just run from a snake? Can they outrun/outslither a human? I'm gonna navigate a hospital on my phone from now. =(

The heading for this video was "Rattlesnake on the patio in Cave Creek"

p.s. if you're wondering how I found this, I youtubed "Cave Creek", the city where the house we're staying at is, and this shit came up.

Nanny or chef? Nanny or Chef?

What'd you guys think? Since I can do snappy from anywhere, why not make extra money. Why didn't I think of this before?? So I thought I'd find a prt-time nanny/babysitting job. A couple days a week. I was telling Brian my idea and he thinks I should be a personal chef instead. So the Poll of the day is: Personal Chef or Nanny? (or cooking classes)

I WANNA GO TO VEGAS!

Anyone wanna go with me???

Who wants to move?

It's been SO long since I've posted a real blog. Sorry to my daily readers (foof). There just is nothing to blog about!! My life is EXTREMELY boring. I'm really just sick of everything in MI. I feel like my life is at a stand still. I wanna move! But I can't do it alone, I'm too big of a chicken to live alone =( Chicago, Vegas, or Scottsdale anyone?? (I'm open to other cities too!)

So I thought more people would have donated to the Relay for Life by now! What is everyone waiting for?? For everyone reading this, PLEASE forward the email I sent to EVERYONE you know, or even ask your employers for a corporate (tax-deductible) donation! If you don't have the email let me know, I'll resend it to you. Thank you in advance! We have a couple events coming up. I'll write more about them when I have all the details.

You know how Marie has picture of the day? Well, I'm gonna start song lyric of the post (whenever I post)

"I don't care what other people say,
I don't wanna give it up easy.
I can't keep on holding on your love.
Nobody knows what I feel,
Nobody feels what I say.
I can't keep on holding on your love"

Relay for Life

Hi!! It's that time again! I'm asking you to please pull out your wallets and break your piggy banks and help save some lives! My friends and I have started a team with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life®.

As we all know, Cancer affects millions of people across the globe and unfortunately, even our closest loved ones. But by making a donation, you will be a part of Relay For Life® to celebrate survivors, remember the people we've lost to cancer, and fight back against this disease!! I am joining the fight against Cancer in memory of my grandma and my aunt. Who will you be helping for?

Our team fundraising goal is $5,000. Please make a donation to team Picture a Cure and help us support the fight against cancer!

You can do so by clicking on the following link:

https://secure3.convio.net/tacs/site/Donation2?idb=270966497&df_id=1002424&FR_ID=4319&1002424.donation=form1&PROXY_ID=270098&PROXY_TYPE=22

If you'd rather send a check or donate cash, please let me know!

On behalf of everyone who's been affected by Cancer in one way of another,

THANK YOU!

Picture a Cure...

"Picture a Cure" is the name of our team for Relay for Life! Our theme is Paparazzi. Teresa's brother thought of the theme. We're gonna go around the event taking pictures of people and invite them to back to our tent to buy their pictures as a donation. So we're setting our team goal at $5,000. With all the contacts we have we can easily raise that. We already have some ideas for fundraisers. I'll finally have something to blog about!!! Let me know if you're interested in being a part of our team!

Volunteering!

Who wants to do Meals on Wheels on Easter morning? We'll be delivering food rather than packaging this time. We'd have to be in Detroit at 8 am on Easter Sunday. I can only imagine how good it will feel to be able to deliver a meal to someone who might otherwise have nothing to eat on Easter. also, I'll be doing Relay for Life in may. would anyone like to do it with me? There is no minimum donation, we can raise as much as we can without having to be stressed by a specific goal. Please join me! Let me know if you want more details about either event.

Tough times

So times are tough now for a lot of people. So here is a link to help you guys save a little money here and there on things you wou may not think about. They're little savings but save a little here, save a little there and all the savings add up!

http://www2.oprah.com/omagazine/200803/omag_200803_saving_101.jhtml (sorry don't know how to make it clickable)

Do you think anyone can ever have too much money? I don't! BUT, it all depends on what you would do with the wealth. Today I visited forbes.com to look at different lists they have and I read a list about some of the flashiest billionaire's cars. There was someone on it with a net worth of $28 BILLION. (the world's richest, Warren Buffet, is worth $62 billion!!!) That is INSANE! I was talking to a friend about it and they said they would be happy with $1 million. And all of you know me, I'm not materialistic in the least bit but I have to say, I would be happier with $28 or $62 billion! I'm not saying I wouldn't be "content" with either but how can someone have too much money? I wish $28 BILLION was in my possession. Do you know how much good I could do with that? How many millions of people I could feed? How many people I can shelter and educate? This is what I mean when I say one can never have too much money. I'm really not being greedy. I mean, sure, I'd travel the world, do things I can only ever imagine doing now, and have tons of fun with it, but I don't think that's where the majority of the money would go. Not to myself.

If you wanna read about Warren Buffet and more of the world's billionaires: http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/10/billionaires08_Warren-Buffett_C0R3.html

NOTICE: some of them are high school and college drop outs. See, school isn't for everyone. And one day, I'll be on, at least, the list of the world's top millonaires.

Blocipe

Sometimes I just don't feel like I have anything important enough to blog about. So Foof gave me a good idea. Maybe. So this blog is a poll (it makes up for the saturday morning poll I forgot about this past week). You guys always fake ask me to give you cooking lessons. And you always call me when you're cooking to ask me questions. So how about I post a recipe every once in a while. You guys can give me suggestions on what you wanna learn to cook. Thing you can't really get good recipes for (arabic food for example) or dishes you just know I make well. And I'll blog the recipe, in great details, for you guys. Whatdya think?

Help Keep Me On Track

As most of you are aware, I have been training with JJ for many months now and I've lost some weight, but not nearly as much as I should have. If I had hit all my weight loss goals each week I would have lost about 50 lbs by now. But I've only lost about 15. I'm not disappointed cause as everyone knows, I've made numerous half-assed attempts to lose weight in the past, to no avail. So losing 15 lbs and keeping it off is not so much a disappointment, I just know I could have done more.

Anyways, I'm reaching out to you for support! I should be at the gym at least every weeknight (except tuesday cause i have work meetings) and then one weekend day. I know I'm pretty good about going to the gym, but I know I get lazy sometimes so if someone (Reta! Renee!) can be my motivation and remind me that I NEED to go in order to reach my goals, that'd be great! You have been GREAT so far, and thank you for that! I know I should be able to motivate myself but as Paul McCartney and John Lennon once wrote, sometimes I just need "a little help from my friends"!

But also FOOD...My biggest downfall! I need to eat better! I have been more conscious of what goes in my body, but I know I still have work to do.

To make a long story short, I need friendly reminders every now and then! GRACIAS!

Isnt it funny...

...How music can put you in certain moods?

Por Ejemplos:
-Low by Flo Rida hypes me up to go out and drink and party.
-Suavemente by Elvis Crespo makes me wanna dance (salsa especially, even though I don't know how)
-This Is How We Do by Big Tymers ghettos me up (though I can't play that role very well)
-A Whole New World puts me in a lovey, depressed, cheesy, pathetic mood.

I've been listening to music and self-evaluating tonight. What'd YOU do tonight?

Monday, February 11, 2008

Sorry....

Sorry about my last post. I am in a angry mood and needed to let it out. I am not deleting the post because it is how I really feel. You guys wanted me to express myself more, well then that's what you get!

Some good words to leave you with:

"I got ki's, comin from overseas
Cost a nigga two hundred G's
I'm a street comando, Nino for example
This lavish lifestyle is hard to handle
So I got to floss cause I'm more like a boss playa
Thug, branded to be a women layer
So many playa haters, imitaters, steady swangin
Make me wanna start back bangin
So I'm caught up in the game, dress code changed
Packin forty glocks, contain em or rearrange
All that jealousy and envy comin from my enemies
While I'm sippin on Re-mi
in front of black Lex, Chevy's on the roam
Ninety-six big body, sittin on chrome
As we head up out the zone, stone-facin is on
You can admire, but don't look too long
I'm livin a dream with triple beams and my pockets bulgin
It's hard to imagine -- picture me rollin!"
-My brothas boy Syke

My current state of mind...

Listen mother fuckers and bitches....If I wanna go back to school one day, I will. I don't care about your past experiences and your wise advice. I will do as I please with MY life. As far as going to back school just to obtain a degree in something I have no interest in and will never pursue, it just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I'm not gonna do it just to please everyone around me! If I decide one day that I am interested in something enough to learn everything about it and work in the field everyday, then I will go back. But, until then, leave me alone!

The moral of the story: Don't fucking annoy the fuck out of me about going back to fucking school.

Please pass this message on to whoever may need to hear it!

Monthly Excitement

If you read my blogs regularly, you'd know that in my January 6th post I stated: "So One of my friends' new years "goals" is to do at least one new/exciting thing per month. I think I am gonna try for that too."

So I had my Joy in January (New York). Now I'm trying to think of something for February. I wish it was warmer, I wanna go paintballing. But I'll just save that for one of the spring months. I even think I might skydive as one of the adventures. I need to get over my fears and to try new things. Dina, let's sign up for a spanish class! But I don't want a beginners one! Find us one (if you even wanna do it). So any ideas for February Fun? Maybe a 1 day/night trip to Chicago? Anyone down?

Saturday Night NOT Live...

NYC was a blast! There is SO much to do in NYC, it's crazy. That city really IS the city that never sleeps. But let me explain to you the REAL reason why it doesn't sleep. Cause who the EFF can sleep with cabs honking at each other 24/7, ambulances blasting their sirens and two drunk girls fighting outside your hotel???! I mean, people ARE walking around in the wee hours of the morning, but I'm convinced thats the REAL reason why the city never sleeps.

So I'm sure you're wondering what we did there, right? Well, read Renee and Marie's blogs soon for a full summary. I'm too tired and my throat hurts. But I do have enough energy to summarize the bar life! Haha!

Friday night: We met Omar (Marie's boss's son) in Soho at a bar called Naked Lunch. It was a nice place, not so big and very PACKED. Renee and Farah left after 20 minutes and I was contemplating leaving with them but didnt. The night started off slow but ended up being really fun. We met pretty much the whole bar. That's where I met Henry which you will hear about in my summary of saturday night. We closed the bar down and just headed back to the hotel after. Bars there close at 4. Why can't they close at 4 here?!? But then again, there is No bar here that I'd care to be at til 4 am!

Okay so on saturday night Nickole wasn't feeling well and Renee is old and married and Farah wasn't in the mood to go out so guess what....WE DID NOT GO OUT ON SATURDAY NIGHT IN NYC!!!!!!!!!! (hence my blog title: "Saturday Night NOT Live" I was SOOO pissed but I ended up hanging out with Henry from the night before so it worked out just fine for me. Thank you, Henry, for pulling through for me last minute!

Sunday night was an interesting night. We went to the Laugh Factory where we really did Laugh SOOOO much. After the show we walked a few blocks to a bar right by our hotel called Kevin St. James. We met some guys there that do scenery for NBC. We also met Bartender Mark. SUPER nice! He gave us all our drinks free the whole night, and we drank quite a lot. We left this bar to meet up with Omar again. We went to 3 different bars that were all dead and Marie wasn't feeling well so we dropped her back to the hotel and Nickole and I went back to Kevin St. James. We met Londoners that were fun. They were at the same hotel as us. The hotel we stayed at, the Paramount, was full of Europeans! It was really cool to hear all the different accents and languages. I'm sure you'll hear more about the actual hotel in Renee's and/or Marie's blog so be sure to check their blogs out! haha
The 2nd highlight of the trip took place last night/this morning: GETTING TO LIVE OUT MY DREAM OF BARTENDING! We stayed after the bar closed and I was telling Mark, the bartender, how I've always wanted to bartend so he told me to get behind the bar and make a drink! Thank you Mark at Kevin St. James for the opportunity to make Nickole a Cosmo! How fun! I know the picture is dark but it's from Nickole's phone:

That's a summary of NYC. The girls shopped, went to a museum, site-saw. I shopped a little, didn't do the museum or anything really touristy. I did, however, ride the subway alone, like a true New Yorker!

I need a vacation! Anyone wanna go somewhere? =)

NEW YORK CITY....

....HERE WE COME!!! Anyone reading this....please pray we get on Cash Cab! Don't know what it is? Cash Cab is a tv game show where you get in a cab, and Ben, your cab driver, asks you trivia questions while he drives you to your destination...you win money for each question you get correct...and if u get three wrong, he drops you off wherever you are. if u make it to the end, you can choose to go double or nothing by answering one question. THAT WOULD BE SO FUNNNN!!!!

Good 'Ol Canino Daze...

I'm craving the caNino. I haven't been there since vegas! And I didn't even play that much in vegas either. I now am not afraid or ashamed to admit that at one point in my life I think I may have had a slight addiction to the casino. I say "slight" addiction cause I think if I was full-blown addicted I wouldn't have been able to stop so easily and I would have gambled more money while I was there. I used to go up to four times a week. What was wrong with us?!!? How was I even able to afford that? I haven't been to MGM yet, I heard it's purty nice down there. I'm trying to make my friends leave work early today and go with me but nobody will =( Anyone wanna go?? Haha

I'm SOOO jealous, Brian and Brent! =( Brent, you should not be going to Vegas, I SHOULD BE! You belong on cruises not in Vegas! =)

I miss you, Fabulous Las Vegas!

Should I cut my hair again? Inverted bob like last time, but a little longer in the front or shorter in the back...more of a bob.
Also, should I highlight my hair? Reddish highlights.

On a lighter note...

I've decided I'm going to start looking into bottling my dressings, etc. I have a lot of research to do, but it's exciting. If anyone reading this has ever created, bottled, manufactured, distributed, etc anything, and has any advice to give me, let me know!

But here is the question I have for you....What should I name my line of dressings, marinades and spice rubs/mixes? I'm taking suggestions...something cute!

p.s. sorry for being sensitive brian.

Saturday Morning Poll

If my friend was struggling with something that I could do easily, I would help them in a heartbeat. They wouldn't even have to ask. So, I asked one of the Cheeburger owners to write a testimonial for SnappyOrder.com. He said he's not a good writer and asked me to write it and that he would just sign it. I agreed, though I know nothing about writing, let alone writing a testimonial! After a week or so of stressing out about it, I finally put something together. It was about a page long and pretty detailed. I sent it to Brian to proofread and fix and he sent me a short quote and said "here is your testimonial"!!! It took him literally 2 minutes. Why would he make me write it if he could do it in 2 minutes?? I was pissed! Like really annoyed! So I sent it to the owner to read to make sure it was okay and he wanted to change something about it. SOO I told Brian what needed to be changed and HE WON'T CHANGE IT! I mean, I understand that maybe he is not doing it so I can learn how to do it myself, but I've never even freaking seen a testimonial! I JUST CAN'T WRITE! Why do you think I didn't finish school...CAUSE I CAN'T WRITE OR DO SPEECHES!!!!!!!

Saturday Morning Poll:

Would you help a friend with something you could do so easily?

MishMish = Apricot

Like my new blog title? If yes, I actually came up with it myself! If no, Brian came up with it.

So I've been training this lady for sales for SnappyOrder.com. I'm probably not the best person to train anyone on any type of sales. But I believe in snappy and know the system which makes it easy! I kinda like meeting people and talking to restaurant owners and managers. The other day I re-met a guy I went to 4th grade with (who by the way is very hot now)!!!! He owns Breakaway Deli in Troy and Bloomfield Hills. Today I met this SUPER nice couple thats opening a cute 50's diner type place called Sizzle-In Diner in wixom. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the owner of the four Topz Healthier Burger Grill. Has anyone eaten there? I wonder if healthy burgers are good. haha We have meetings setup all week so please pray for me and/or wish me luck! THANKS in advance!

A sunday in the life of MishMish....

So today was a pretty chillaxed day. I woke up way too late. Late enough to have missed an order I was supposed to call on =( Oh well.
Then I went to the gym with Renee to repeat our training workout from Wednesday. It was torturous (Renee, treacherous doesn't work in this case. Treach-er-ous: Guilty of or involving betrayal or deception) Renee quit 5 leg lifts before she was done, then decided to finish when I finished the whole workout.
After that I came home and Fatin picked me up so we could go grocery shopping, something we have been planning for over a week. She thought I was gonna ditch. She kept reminding me throughout the week. So we got 5 miles into our adventure when our aunt called her and told her she wanted her to go to the mall with her so she could watch her son play in the play area while she shopped. Fatin is an idiot that doesn't know how to say no to her family, and then complains about it. So she ended up dropping me back home and went to the mall. Thanks for ruining my day, Fatin! =)
So I went to Meijer instead cause I had told Renee I would grocery shop for her. I bought her the stuff she needed to make stir fry for dinner and dropped it to her house.
I picked up food after that and brought it home for Marie, my mom and I.
After dinner I cleaned my room! Yes...my room is now CLEAN! YAAAY! I really hope I can keep it clean this time.
I've been home all night and have been SOOOO tired since 7 pm. If you check to see what time this blog was posted it's probably gonna say something like 2:30 am. Yup, It's almost 2:30 am and I'm STILL NOT ASLEEP!
So that was my extremely exciting day.

Has anyone been to San Francisco? I am planning on hopefully going to LA and San Fran in march or april. I have Chris to show me around LA and I have a friend in SF also but I wanna know if there is anything I just HAVE TO see. Anyone wanna come?

I think it's time to try to sleep. Good night folks.

p.s. Nobody ask me to go out to eat anymore.

Saturday Morning Poll

Please let me know if you think the following statement is true or false, and please explain your answer!

"When I am in a relationship, I don't have as much time to spend with my friends."

Keep this in mind: "not as much time" means any less time than you had before you were in a relationship (whether it be a few hours, or a couple days)

Blogging Regularly

So you guys want me to blog more? Okay, well let me blog about how I'm NOT gonna blog more! First of all, I never promised anyone any certain amount of blogs in any given time period. I have averaged about one blog per week which I, personally, find to be just the right amount. Now that we have 5 blogs in the family, I don't think I need to blog more! Second of all, I don't really have much to blog about. I know you're thinking: "blog about your thoughts on current events, your thoughts on movies and music, your thoughts on marie's ugly-ass-grandpa-looking-not-even-grandpa-looking-garbage-worthy glasses, your cats actions of the day, etc". Well, no! I only wanna blog about what I want to blog about, that's why this blog is called Michelle's World!!!! It's not Renee's world or Dina's world or Reta's World, so there! I blogged about my thoughts and feelings...

peace out!

I'm SO excited...

I just put music on my new shuffle (thank you: marie, for the shuffle. adam and renee, for the music!) I have THE BEST mixX on it! Tupac, Sinatra, Pitbull, Queen, Gypsy Kings, NKOTB, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Guns N' Roses, Whitney Houston, and so much more...I even have a song by Tom Jones!! I CAN'T WAIT TO WORKOUT TO IT!

2008 has started slow. I had the stomach flu yesterday. NOT fun! But I'm feeling better now which is good.

So One of my friends' new years "goals" is to do at least one new/exciting thing per month. I think I am gonna try for that too. January's Excitement - GO TO NY! Which I am excited about but kinda not. I'm sorry Marie and Renee and Farah and Nickole (if you read this) but I really DO NOT wanna go shopping all day and I'm also not very interested in museums! What the hell am I gonna do!? Like an hour or so of shopping is fine...but PLEASE not all day!!!! And I guess I'll suffer through one museum, but please not more!

Can anyone think of a cool name for my Blog? Michelle's World is so boring. Reta's is fun: La Isla of Reta! Quite clever!
